EnLevo Service Trips - A Life Changing Experience

EnLevo offers the unique opportunity to participate in humanitarian work in a remote area of Guatemala known as Cahabon. We work directly with the Mayan (Q'eqchi) people. Cahabon encompasses 210 jungle villages. Most of these villages do not have running water or electricity, and the homes are made of bamboo walls and corrugated roofs.

EnLevo provides opportunities for service and cultural experiences for those who join us on our service trips. Our service groups work on projects in different villages. Some of the projects include repairs, helping with green houses, installing water systems, farming and agriculture, building schools, working with children, teaching English, taking family pictures, building/repairing desks, repairs, and so much more. In addition, we go right into the Q'eqchi homes and learn to make tortillas, hold soccer games with villages, read to the children, participate in cultural events, visit the market, etc.) .

The cost to join us on a service trip is $795-$1,195 USD (depending on the number of people in the group). This cost includes housing, meals, travel within Guatemala, cultural experiences and more. You are responsible for your own airfare. The service projects and the costs for the service projects vary from group to group. An additional donation (above the cost of the trip) for projects will be determined based on the needs of the villages we will be serving during the trip.

Our service trips are typically about a week with 5-6 days spent in Cahabon. If you are interested in making a difference, and having a life changing experience, please fill out the following interest form: https://forms.gle/fQe2mWCH9krB4bz28
